GLB to APK Converter
Processing entirely on your device — large files may take a moment.
glTF Binary Model and Android Package exist for different jobs: GLB is the compact binary form of glTF — "the JPEG of 3D": one file carrying geometry, materials and textures, made for the web, AR and game engines. Repack an APK as ZIP to inspect its manifest and assets (not for reinstalling).
This converter runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly — your files never leave your device, nothing is uploaded, and there are no watermarks, sign-ups or queues. Drop in several files at once to convert them as a batch.

About the GLB format
GLB is the binary form of glTF 2.0 — the format the Khronos Group designed as “JPEG of 3D”. One self-contained file carries geometry, a full scene hierarchy, PBR materials with textures, skeletal animation and morph targets. It is the native asset format of three.js, Unity, Unreal, Blender and WebXR.
Converting to GLB is usually the upgrade path from OBJ/STL: materials become physically based and embedded, and scenes become portable in a single file. One honest caveat: Draco-compressed GLBs save space but many loaders need explicit decoder setup — plain GLB plays everywhere unconditionally.
+Strengths
- ✓PBR materials, hierarchy and animation in one file
- ✓The web/AR standard — loads natively in three.js
- ✓Compact binary with texture embedding
!Limitations
- −Mesh-only: no CAD solids or NURBS
- −Older niche tools may not know glTF
About the APK format
An APK is Android’s install package: a ZIP holding AndroidManifest.xml, compiled DEX bytecode, native libraries and assets. Unpacking one is the standard first step of security review, compatibility checks and asset recovery.
One honest limit: unpacking is inspection, not installation — a repacked ZIP cannot be installed back onto a phone, and the page says so.
+Strengths
- ✓Everything an Android app ships
- ✓ZIP-based, easy to unpack
- ✓Manifest readable as XML
!Limitations
- −DEX bytecode is not human source
- −Repack cannot reinstall
Why convert GLB to APK?
Think of it as moving your file to the container that fits the job. Mesh-only: no CAD solids or NURBS APK works differently: Everything an Android app ships If any of that sounds like your task, run the conversion — it takes seconds and nothing leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
Is this GLB to APK converter really free?
Yes — completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily conversion limits. The site is supported by advertising.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your files never leave your device — that is what makes it instant and private.
Does it work on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android?
Yes. Anything with a modern browser works: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. No software installation is required.
Will my model look the same as a GLB?
Geometry, hierarchy and standard materials convert faithfully. Note that Draco-compressed GLB files and exotic extensions are not supported — export those as plain GLB from your original tool first.
Does the scale or orientation of the model change?
Vertex data is converted as-is. Formats without a unit system (like STL) are interpreted as millimeters by most 3D-printing tools — scale before converting if your model uses different units.
Will my APK model keep its colors and textures?
Only if APK can store them. Geometry converts faithfully; appearance data survives only when the target format has a place to put it. For full materials, GLB is usually the right target.
