Parquet to HTML Converter
Processing entirely on your device — large files may take a moment.
Apache Parquet and HTML Document exist for different jobs: Parquet is the columnar storage format of the big-data world: Spark, Pandas, DuckDB, BigQuery and data lakes all speak it natively. Columns are compressed and typed, so files stay small and analytical queries stay fast. HTML keeps headings, links and tables intact and ready to publish on the web or convert onwards to other document formats.
Because the whole conversion happens on your device, it is instant, unlimited and genuinely private — no accounts, no watermarks, no files on anyone's server. Multiple files are converted in one go.

About the Parquet format
Parquet is the columnar file format that the data-engineering world standardized on: instead of storing one row after another, values are grouped by column, compressed as a block, and annotated with exact types. That layout is why a Parquet export is often 5–10× smaller than the same table as CSV, and why Spark, Pandas, DuckDB, BigQuery, Snowflake and every modern data lake read it natively.
The catch is that Parquet is binary and column-oriented — you cannot open it in a text editor or most spreadsheet apps. A converter is the bridge: flatten a Parquet file into CSV or JSON to inspect it, hand XLSX/TSV/CSV to it when a cleaned-up table needs to travel back into the pipeline. Types survive both directions, so numbers stay numbers.
+ Strengths
- ✓5–10× smaller than CSV via per-column compression
- ✓Exact column types — no silent string coercion
- ✓The lingua franca of Spark / Pandas / DuckDB / data lakes
! Limitations
- −Binary — unreadable without a dedicated tool
- −Overkill for small hand-edited tables
- −Nested schemas can confuse simple converters
About the HTML format
HTML is the markup language of the web itself. A document is plain text decorated with tags that describe structure — headings, paragraphs, lists, links, tables, images — and browsers turn that structure into a rendered, styled page. It is both a format and a program target: CSS styles it and JavaScript makes it interactive.
As a document format, HTML's strength is universality: any device with a browser displays it, text stays selectable and searchable, and links make it navigable. Its weakness is that rendering depends on the surrounding CSS and viewport, so it is a flowing document, not a fixed-layout one — printing or archiving an HTML page is inherently an approximation.
+ Strengths
- ✓Displays on every device with a browser
- ✓Semantic structure: headings, links, tables, media
- ✓Text remains selectable, searchable and accessible
! Limitations
- −Final look depends on CSS and viewport
- −Not a fixed-layout or print format
- −Untrusted HTML must be sanitized before display
Why convert Parquet to HTML?
Think of it as moving your file to the container that fits the job. Binary — unreadable without a dedicated tool HTML works differently: Displays on every device with a browser If any of that sounds like your task, run the conversion — it takes seconds and nothing leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Parquet to HTML converter really free?
Yes — completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily conversion limits. The site is supported by advertising.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your files never leave your device — that is what makes it instant and private.
Does it work on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android?
Yes. Anything with a modern browser works: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. No software installation is required.
Is there a file size limit for Parquet to HTML?
The only limit is your device's memory, since nothing is uploaded. Files up to a few hundred megabytes work fine on a modern desktop browser; very large files simply take a little longer.
Is my data safe here?
Yes. The conversion is plain JavaScript running in your tab: the data is parsed and re-serialized in memory, never sent anywhere, and disappears when you close the page.
Are formulas, styles or multiple sheets converted?
No — this conversion extracts the data itself into HTML. Formulas are exported as their current values, styling is not carried over, and multi-sheet workbooks convert sheet by sheet. For full fidelity between spreadsheet formats, exchange within the same tool family.
